Professor Ndambuki is a registered Professional engineer with Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (R.Eng), as well as registered Professional engineer with Engineering Council of South Africa (PrEng) and has over 31 years of experience as a Civil Engineer coupled with his research abilities as a fully-fledged academic of international recognition. He is also registered with the National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) as a Competent Person/Engineer.

He specializes in Water Engineering Infrastructure including water and wastewater treatment works, water supply and sewer network designs, design and supervision of water retaining structures and has completed many designs and supervision works in this regard.

Prof. Ndambuki has spent many years as lecturer with various Universities across Africa and abroad and has served as Head of Departments for some. He is an academic of note and has received several international recognitions in this regard. He is currently an Executive Director at MUDA Consulting Engineers with head office in Kenya.
